The RGV FC Toros concluded regular season play Saturday at H-E-B Park with a 4-1 victory over Monterey Bay FC.
Goals from Juan Pablo Torres in the sixth minute, Frank Lopez in the 33rd minute, a Monterey Bay own goal and a stoppage time goal from Akeem Ward sealed the playoff spot for the Toros.
The Torros finished the season in sixth place of the USL Championship Western Conference.
RGV FC (14-7-13) face the Colorado Springs Switchbacks (17-4-13) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Colorado Springs.
The Toros defeated the Switchbacks 1-0 on Sep. 17 at H-E-B Park.
