Sharyland High’s Garcia to play baseball at Navarro

Carlos Garcia, a 3-year Letterman for the Sharyland Baseball program signed to play baseball at Navarro Junior College, one of the premiere junior colleges in Region 14. Carlos’s accomplishments come on a different spectrum as he lost his sophomore season to the covid cancelation and in 2021 losing his junior season to a knee injury. Carlos had to overcome tons of adversity in his junior campaign as he worked hard to come back before the given time frame. He was able to pitch the last game of the season vs number one in the state Gregory Portland posting 5 strikeouts over three innings only allowing one hit. Carlos was also a part of the 2017 Little League World Series team. Prior to his senior year Carlos was voted amongst High School Coaches as one of the Top Performers to look out for this season, and rightfully so as he’s one of the state’s strikeouts leaders with 77 K’s. Carlos will be greatly missed not only by the baseball program but Sharyland High School as a whole. We look forward to seeing his continued workforce throughout the playoffs and his future endeavors at the next level.
