Rio Grande City’s Guerra to play baseball at Concordia

Rio Grande City senior Daniel “Bevo” Guerra signed to play college baseball at Concordia, a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) university in Seward, Nebraska.

Guerra is batting .354 this year with a team-high 34 runs ,29 hits, 17 RBIs, six doubles and five triples. He’s also stolen 20 bases in 29 games played.

Guerra has helped the Rattlers (20-7-2, 10-2) reach a tie for first place in District 30-5A with two games remaining in the regular season.
