On the boys side of things, it was the Harlingen South Hawks who came out on top at the end of the night with 115 points, edging out PSJA Southwest’s 113 points.
Rounding out the top six boys teams Friday night was Edcouch Elsa (82.5 points), Mercedes (77.5), Edinburg Economedes (64 ) and La Joya Palmview (56).
The South Lady Hawks also had a solid day in La Feria as they finished second on the day with 131 points.
However, it was Palmview who came out ahead in the final scores with 137 points.
PSJA North finished third with 66 points, Grulla finished fourth with 60, Rio Grande City placed fifth with 58 points and hosting school La Feria finished with 48 points.
