The schedule for the Class 5A Region IV Final between Sharyland High and Sharyland Pioneer has been released.
With a large crowd expected, the Diamondbacks and Rattlers will take the field at UTRGV Baseball Stadium in Edinburg, which has a capacity of 4,000. The best-of-three series between the Sharyland High Rattlers and Sharyland Pioneer Diamondbacks is set to begin Thursday. The winner will advance to the state tournament, something no team has done since Harlingen South in 2007.
Game 1 is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Game 2 is slated for 7 p.m. on Friday.
Game 3, if necessary, will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
