A leak in the Lopez gymnasium’s roof moved most of the games Friday and all of Saturday’s games to Porter.
All games scheduled at Lopez will be played in Porter’s main gymnasium. Games originally slated for Porter move to the school’s auxiliary gynasium.
The leak occurred during the middle of the Harlingen High-McAllen Rowe game at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
“It was bad enough where we had to move it,” Lopez coach Neil Schuster said. “We have people working on it right now. It was tough, but we adapted and improvised.”
Games are still scheduled for the original times.
