Harlingen High senior distance runner Ayianna Olivas signed Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday where she will run cross country.
Olivas is currently running track for the Cardinals. Olivas is routinely on the podium in 1600m and 3200m runs, as well as a member of multiple relays. The senior is one of the best distance runners in the valley.

Olivas finished her cross country career by qualifying for the state meet by finishing 11th at the regional meet. Olivas is also the 2021 and 2022 District 32-6A champion. Olivas qualified for the regional meet all four years of high school.
The community college located in Western Iowa is 13 miles outside of Omaha, Nebraska.
