Just as the playoff picture was starting to look more clear, Week 10 decided to change the equation. With only one week remaining in the regular season, unexpected teams are still establishing themselves as contenders in Districts 30-6A and 31-6A. Some district title chases grew more clear, like when Edinburg Vela blew out PSJA High, and others became more muddled, like when Sharyland High upset Mission Veterans. New faces like Brownsville Hanna and Brownsville Pace have punched their postseason tickets, while traditional powers Harlingen High and Edcouch-Elsa will be on the outside looking in.
