Edinburg Vela, Hidalgo and Sharyland High’s boys basketball teams moved up in ranking in the latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches poll announced Monday.
Vela (24-5, 8-0), the No. 1-ranked team by RGVSports.com, moved up two spots in the coaches 5A poll to No. 19. Sharyland High (23-5, 6-1), ranked No. 2 by RGVSports.com, comes in at No. 20.
And Hidalgo (23-5, 9-0), RGVSports.com’s No. 4-ranked team, moved up three spots to No. 19 in the 4A poll.
