A list of applicants for vacant head football coach/athletic coordinator position at PSJA Memorial was released to The Monitor on Wednesday in fulfillment of a public information request filed earlier in the month.
PSJA ISD received 30 applications for the open position, mostly from current coordinators or assistant coaches at high schools around the Valley, including seven already employed within PSJA ISD.
The position became open when Gus Cavazos decided to step down following the 2014 season to become the director of the Safe Schools Initiative for PSJA ISD.
